Hi! My name is Madiyn, but you can call me Maddy. When I am not listening to Taylor Swift and reading books, I am a full time-toddler wrangler to my daughter, Winnie. I also teach high school students and of course, document beautiful stories through my camera. I have had a camera in my hand since I was young and my passion for the craft of photography continues to grow. Join me on this journey to create emotive photographs for your family.
About Your Photographer
Booking your session is easy! Once you decide you want to book, we choose the perfect date and time. I often recommend either sunrise or sunset sessions to get the best lighting. From there, I send over a detailed contract and deposit. Once everything is reviewed, we can officially start planning! I love learning more about your family and why the photo session is so important to you.

Session Day!
Many of my clients come from out of town or want to invest in photographs without spending too much on one-time use outfits. This is where my client closet comes in! My client closet is always changing and growing to fit trends. I can share images of my closet so you can see if a piece will fit you. I also provide a complimentary welcome/style guide. Have questions? I am here to help you coordinate. Heck, even call me on your target run if I am free! A big part of photography is the outfits and I want to make sure you're feeling as beautiful as I know you are!
The day is here--your session! I love finally meeting your family. As expected, it can take kids a moment to warm up to a stranger, but soon enough they're laughing and playing. Be ready to snuggle in close and love on your kids. I always get the posed pictures out of the way first, then I give focused prompts based around your family. My sessions aren't timed so this means we can let toddlers be well, toddlers and still get that perfect family photo! Approximately one week after your session, I will deliver your soft-proof gallery and that is where you officially decide which package you would like to select.

Madilyn is AMAZING! She took the most wonderful photos of our family, including our crazy 2 year old! I was concerned that she wouldn’t be able to get photos of our son because he NEVER stops moving, but she got some absolutely amazing pictures that I will cherish forever! Book with her! Madilyn came over to our home and even though our toddler did not want to take pictures, she was patient and so kind! She brought toys and was playing with our son the entire time. She is nurturing and so incredibly sweet. When she left the house I thought for sure we had no pictures with our son in them, but she worked magic!
