The Moments By Madilyn experience is professional and centered on your interests! I work with you to find the best location, outfits, and vibe for your portaits.
Please note: my sessions do take place outdoors and indoor senior portrait session aren't offered.
Once you book with me you will receive a style guide, access to style and select, and a welcome guide so you can prepare for your session.
01. The Inquiry
It all starts here! Fill out my contact form with the basics—your date, your venue and a little bit about your vision. I’ll get back to you within 24 hours to let you know if I’m available to join your wedding "dream team."
02. The Connection Call
I don't just want to be another name on a vendor list. We’ll hop on a quick phone or video call to see if we click. We’ll talk about what makes your relationship unique, your favorite "unscripted" moments, and any "must-haves" for your day.
03. Your Custom Quote
No "one size fits all" here. Based on our call, I’ll send over a custom quote designed to be both high-value and affordable. I believe in transparent pricing that respects your budget while ensuring your memories are captured with heart.
04. Making it Official (Booking)
Once you’ve reviewed your quote and we’ve found the perfect fit, we’ll handle the paperwork. A signed agreement and a retainer fee officially put you on my calendar. From this moment on, I am officially in your corner!
05. The Planning Phase
This is where our team-oriented approach shines. I’ll stay in touch as your day approaches, collaborating with your other vendors and helping you refine your timeline.
06. The Wedding Day!
The wait is over! While you focus on the emotion of the day—the laughs, the tears, and the lions—I’ll be there behind the scenes. My goal is to remain intimate and unobtrusive, capturing the raw beauty of your celebration while you stay fully present in the moment.
2. Engagement Session
Book your session!
Once we go over details, due dates, and chat over the phone or zoom, we will officially book your session. For newborn it is best to schedule them within the first three weeks. I will write your due date down and once your new baby arrives, we will officially schedule our time together.
3. Planning
Here is a fun part: planning! You are welcome to come over and browse my wraps and props as we curate the perfect newborn session.
Once we have the perfect colors and props planned, I will create a workflow so we can maximize our time together! I want the process to be seamless so let me take care of everything!
Session Prep
It is almost time for your session!
I will send a session prep guide allowing you to prep for our session. You are welcome to contact me with any questions!
5. Session day
The day you have been waiting for--session day is here! I will have everything ready, and we will work together to create perfect images. Some babies may take a little while to settle--plan around 2.5 hours minimum for full posed, wrapped, and prop newborn sessions. From there, I will send a soft proof gallery with the images and you can choose the final digital and print products for your home.

These are my most popular packages Weddings designed for intimacy, but still capture the getting ready, family portaits, bridal portaits, ceremony and reception highlights. Engagement session add-on, additional photographer and ala carte hours available!
Want it all? These wedding packages are designed for full day coverage. We won't miss a moment! Guaranteed two photographers, engagement session, and the final call ending in sparklers, laughter, and fun!

Madilyn came over to our home and even though our toddler did not want to take pictures, she was patient and so kind! She brought toys and was playing with our son the entire time. She is nurturing and so incredibly sweet. When she left the house I thought for sure we had no pictures with our son in them, but she worked magic!
